TESTIMONIALS
I moved to this area from NC last year and purchased a nice home, but it was far from “livable” from an aesthetic point-of-view. I needed help to transform my home but did not know where to turn. Since I was unfamiliar with talented interior design professionals in the area, Margie Stapf Interiors was recommended by my realtor.
From the first walk-through, Margie brought a fresh palate of possibilities to a space that seemed too difficult for me to tackle alone. Her suggestions, her storyboards, and presentations reflected someone with seasoned experience and dedication to her craft. The consideration Margie Stapf Interiors had for my vision was unprecedented to me. Her unique perspective combined with extensive knowledge of resources and available options in this area was just what was needed to create a space I am happy with.
I highly recommend Margie and her company to anyone who is looking for a transformational – and enjoyable(!) – interior design experience of their own.

When I was Director of Engineering at R. S. Mowery and Sons, Inc., I had the pleasure to work with Margie at Margie Stapf Interiors on several design build projects. Specifically, Margie provided design services for the interior finishes of a showroom for a Central Pennsylvania automotive dealership. Margie enhanced
the interior design requirements by the dealership with complementing materials and features. I highly recommend Margie Stapf Interiors.

We started working with Margie back in 2016 – and our relationship continues. We enjoy working with her because she is very creative and easy to work with. Here is an example of a great success with Margie:

My husband and I love art and unique furniture pieces and will often design around them. When searching for new furniture for our living room we came across a reverse camelback chesterfield couch in aubergine that we had to have. We asked Margie to design the entire room around this piece of furniture. We challenged her with two other issues: one being an odd room layout (much longer than its width), the other was a need for additional office space. She nailed it by first drawing example layouts of the room in various configuration that also included an office area. She brought us amazing suggestions for various furniture and design elements for the room.
We didn’t have a set budget, but knew we wanted fabulousness without spending a fortune. She worked with us to find a mix of high-end and bargain items plus pieces we already owned that turned out amazing. She helped us to transform our cookie-cutter fireplace into a piece of art incorporating a striking restored & reclaimed 19th century wood fireplace mantel. For our art collection, she helped us create two different gallery walls to display them. My husband and I did not always agree and she was very diplomatic and effective in getting us to come together on design choices.

In our recently purchased new home, she recreated our living room despite entirely new dimensions. She also designed our dining room, sourcing the most amazing crystal light fixture and combining it with a vintage dining room set we purchased on consignment for next to nothing. We recovered the chairs in three different and contrasting fabrics and found a new table top. She recommended wall, ceiling, and trim paint colors that work perfectly. It might be our next favorite room in the house.

More projects are planned with Margie!

We recommend her to all of our family and friends, which we would never do unless we were 100% satisfied with everything she has done for us.

I first met Margie Stapf at a “full home redo” for the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra fundraiser. Margie and her team did two bedrooms, and I ended up buying most of the decorative pieces they were displaying. Since then, they have been dressing my circa 1900 Victorian home for Christmas in such gorgeous and glorious style as to wow all the many friends I entertain.
I admire Margie Stapf Interiors for their commitment to community service. In addition to whole room displays Margie also does gorgeous floral arrangements for nonprofit events, such as the annual gala supporting The Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art. Her integrity, professionalism, and pleasant demeanor make her a joy to work with.

Margie is a rare and shining gem! I am a do-it-yourself person, and Margie has been such a wonderful help to me with her creative skills and talent for decorating and helping to make our house feel like a home. She took the time to get to know me and learn what I like and my style of decorating.
I love how she teaches as she works and visually shows me what the end result will look like. She has inspired and taught me to be creative, sparked my interest, and gave me the confidence to add little finishing touches along the way. I’ll text a picture to her or an idea, she always gives me her honest opinion. I am blessed to have found her and am looking forward to our next project together!

My husband and I have been involved with a large, months long first floor remodeling project and had chosen many items ourselves, but we were getting to the point where we weren’t sure about some of the items. Margie walked through our home with us, listened to what we liked, and confirmed some ideas or gave us great options and colors to consider. Then, within days, she shared options for lighting, backsplash, bar stools, and paint colors that were perfect! Working with Margie was a pleasure and very helpful. I will not hesitate to request her expertise again!
